Account Wrongly Added To Credit Report And Harassing Calls

This company is a total lie and is trying to ruin my credit. They contacted me and stated that they were collecting on an old debt. I thought I would do the right thing and pay. Then I read my credit report. Midland Cred/Fund was on there with a comment stating i have never paid anything. I contacted the Experian credit and within a month, they were removed. I thought i was out of the clear until this week.

I decided to review my credit report and noticed Midland Fund was on there with a large balance and stating that I opened an account with them in March. I never opened an account with them, yes I may have been paying on my old bill but never did I open an account. Now they are on my credit report.

I have been receiving harrassing calls and when they call, I say, "I hope your recording this because I will not be paying you anything. I did not take a loan or credit out with you and you lied."

I received another call the other day, so today I called and they guy asked for my information so that he could pull up my record. I told him no however if he was recording that I would report this to the credit bureaus and that I do not owe them anything.

I am thinking because this is suppose to drop off soon that they are trying to get more money out of me.

Any suggestions?
