Never do business with wells fargo

I have had an account with Wells Fargo since August and have had two problems with them. The first problem was the return of my utility bill payment because they had frozen my account without warning me. This incident caused a problem with my utility company which took awhile to get corrected. The next problem I have with them was on 2/10 regarding a transfer into my account. I had a client who transfer money into my account and when he did not get some documents in the timely manner that he did not want.

He called Wells Fargo and said it was an unauthorized transfer and he emailed me and told me he was going to do this. I took the email into one of the local branches and they told me to contact loss prevention because my account was now under their jurisdiction. I called loss prevention and told them I had the email with the threat from my client and would like to forward it to them.

I was told that there was no point because the decision was final and my account was being closed. I still had a positve balance in my account and I asked could I withdraw the funds since the account was being closed out. I was told that I had to wait 11 business days before I would receive my funds and they would send it to me via a cashiers' check. I would not recommend Wells Fargo to anyone if they were the last bank in the world. If I had to choose between keeping my money under the house or bank with Wells Fargo, I would take the house any day of the week.
