Policy Cancelled Over Dog Breed After Being Insured and Uninsured Repeatedly

I received a quote from Travelers from a third party rep for a home owners quote Travelers were not the cheapest but most of the quotes were close in price. I went with them then the next day I got a call that said they could not insure me. I called the rep he said he didn't know why but they could not insure me. OK so I was going to go with another and I got another call from the rep saying they will insure me OK. So I said yes and they sent me a policy. All set.

Then I get another quote from travelers online it was 60.00 dollars cheaper for the same quote so I called them and they said it was correct but because I said my shepherd dog had colors like a Alaskan husky they could not insure me I told them she was a Shepherd and I could send my old invoice showing the breed they said O.K. I sent it and they still said no. But the policy that was 60 more was still intact and not to worry about it O.K...

Well today I get a cancellation on the policy saying because my shepherd was a husky they could not insure me. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a insurance company my last company I was with over 20 years but there rates kept going up so I got some other quotes to see if I could save a little I never had a claim and was with the same insurance company all my life as an adult I thought I was a good person to insure. Nobody else but Travels ask the type dog all the others companies needed was if I had a dog that has bitten anyone. I think they only did that because the lower rate on the other policy they didn't want to honor...

I am telling everyone I know about there UN business like practice; basically they insured me then uninsured me 3 times in one week. I hope you lose all your customers. They are plenty of good insurance companies out there. We don't need you Travelers. Wonder what the stock holders would think of your practices.
