Ripoff inflated appraised value of home loan officer misleading FRAUD incorrect hud-1 statement

Ameriquest kept calling us to Refinance on our home. We talked it over with the loan officer and decided to do so at the time. BAD MISTAKE!

We received a call back from the loan officer telling us that we had a lien on our property by some name. We disputed that and said until we see who and what was going on with that we were not going to refinance at this time.

The officer was persistent and told my husband and myself that we could pay a escrow fee to bond out of the lien until we went to court to get this dropped being falsed.

The escrow fee was 142.88 and the bond fee was 2770.40, which both the fees were on the hud -1 statement and on our application and the Hillsborough County Court House had a copy to do so from Ameriquest.

At the closing we doubled checked with the loan officer and the processor that indeed that this was to be held in bond until court and/or lien was dropped.

The closing took place on Dec. 24, well the lien was released on Dec 31 and funds released to us in January and to someone who was not even on the hud and we still do not have the monies that was released to someone who was not on the hud and the lien that was released because it could not be put on our property was released before any funds were sent out.

We have been fighting with Ameriquest ever since and still nothing. We even went to see an attorney and we have all the paperwork showing we are in the right but unfortunately we paid all we could afford to the attorney and can not any longer fight until we put down a big lump sum for the attorney to go to court for us.

We have been trying to this on our own and have talked to about everyone in the company and we are just getting the run around and being the told that the lien was not dropped.

My husband went down to the county court house for the third time and indeed it has been dropped siince the attorney wrote a letter to the person filing the lien.

Inflated appraised value of our home was done also, when we questioned that they was never and complete answer for that.

We just can't seem to get anything answered or solved even though we have letters from the attorney, released of lien and paperwork from the courthouse showing that the bond was suppose to held until this was to go to court or dropped.

Do not trust anything that they tell you. They will lie, cheat and steal from you and not think twice about you.

I hope that there can be something done about Ameriquest for all us comsumers who have been taken by them. If there is something being done and to try to retrieve any monies that are owed to any of us please let me know.
