Victoria E. Estep These people called repeatedly and scared me into paying money I did not owe

I began receiving phone calls from different people representing this same Law firm. They claimed I owed money for a payday loan that didn't get pulled from my account years ago.

I disagreed with them for over a year, they kept after me, calling and threatening me. Finally they called and said I was going to be arrested! I KNOW I did not have a payday loan that didn't get repaid, I am positive of that, but they frightened me and I paid them 450.00.

After that was paid, I never heard anything else about it. I did not receive any paperwork showing the "debt" as paid, though they said I would receive it within a few days after paying. I never received anything.

About 3 weeks later, they called and tried to tell me they had ANOTHER loan that had not been repaid. I threatened them with every Attorney in Texas and they never, ever have called me back. I didn't owe the first "loan" I paid off, I never got another one besides that one. So obviously they were scamming me into thinking I owed something that I didn't, then tried to get more out of me!
