Ripoff getting paid doing something I could have done myself

Star Credit Services advertise that they can help people with credit problems to find lenders that will loan them money. They made me think it was a good possibility and sent me 10 lenders in an email with no specific information.

It cost me $125.00 for them to disclose the actual information on the lenders to me. That was if I paid within a few days. I was pretty desperate to find the money for a used car so I decided to give them a try.
The information I received was a no brainer. The list of lenders were just local banks and agencies that anyone would know about. It made me sick at my stomach when I saw what I paid all that money for. The names of the lenders were not even listed, just a short description and a phone number. I had to call to find out who I was even dealing with.

The only way I can get a refund from the Star Credit Services is to apply to every lender and be turned down and be able to prove I was turned down by sending the documentation to them. What a crock! Send me list of the local banks in my town and obvious places like Citifinancial and AIG. What a joke! A list of credit card companies like First Premier Bank, who is listed on the rip off sight.

I think this is a big scam and a huge rip off for consumers. It is just taking advantage of innocent citizens who are struggling financially for one reason or another. They should be ashamed of themselves for sending such garbage through the mail and calling it helpful. Anyone could do what they did. They also make sure you cannot contact a person, only a voice mail. But, they cannot keep me from warning other consumers of what they are doing. The internet reaches a lot of people and I hope if you read this, you will tell everyone about this company.
