They violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and commit extortion

Listen people. Never, never, ever verbally talk to NCO (or any collection agency) or any of their representatives. They are 5 levels below a used car salesman. Tell them you will communicate in writing only, then hang up. Most of you sound like you have great cases to file lawsuits under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) if your compaint is not over 1 year old. You can do this in small claims court and get up to $5,000.00. However, you must have proof in writing like we do. Just look up the FDCPA (on the Internet) and if there are any violations (they are easy to spot), which there will be with this company employing so many dumb people, Robert Garrett, in particular, then file your suit in smalls court. Just tell the judge your story. No lawyer is required. We have filed a lawsuit and it is now a public document. If anyone wants an copy as an example filing, we will provide one. Just pay copy charges and postage. About $5.00 We cannot provide legal assistance, but until this unethical company stops breaking the law and extorting innocent people, everybody needs to file a lawsuit against them, especially if the debt is not your debt. It's really an easy area of the law to understand from a consumers perspective. However, NCO does not provide any training to their dumb employees, so they become liable for monetary damages. You are correct, NCO Financial Systems has an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Businss Bureau and are being investigated throughout the United States by various state and federal agencies.
