Illegally obtained a mortgage on our home forcing us into bankruptcy and causing us to leave this home where my step son was raised. Rip-off!

I want to tell people what happened to john and i so won't happen to them.in may of 1998 we contacted pinewood remodeling about putting a deck on our home. The representative came and we agreed on a price and signed a few papers. I did not find out until later, when i was inquiring about a consolidation loan that the representative had came back to my home while i was working and had my 13 yr old daughter to sign as a witness on a mortgage deed with my husband and filed it in the court house has my husband being unmarried.

There was no one from national city to come and talk to us or let us sign papers. Just mr perry from pinewood remodeling. I tried to get this mess straightened
oot to no avail. Finally after a yr laura white, with national city called and said i can help you. We thought finally. What this young lady managed to do was put us in a real hardship, by not paying off the other mortgage for national city. So we were told basically, sorry for your luck.

We had to file bankruptcy two years ago and give up the home my husband had raised is son in. We are having all kinds of problems trying to get another home loan. I can't help but wonder how far a big corporation can go before they get caught up in their tricks. Sincerely, billie and john.
