I opened 2 accounts 1 savings - 1 checking, i went to close the account and was told i couldn't close it without penalty's the teller told me to leave in my accounts $50.00 in each of the accounts and there would be no penalty's, and close it after 2 months. I than asked her if that would cover all their fees for the 2 months and she replied yes.

After 1 month i had gotten a letter in the mail the account was over drawn, which i thought was strange as i had not touched the accounts. So off to the port orange bank i went i was told by the manager there a Tammy from the Daytona branch would call. 2 more times i went to the port orange office with no results. I than went to talk to Tammy in Daytona branch either she wasnt there or unavable to talk to me.

Next thing i know its in collections and they want another $100.00 from me or they will put it on my credit score. When i explained it to the collection agency they told me to call the corporate office and tell them what happened. So i did and the once again redirected me to the collection agency which thinks i was treated unfairly too.

At this point i feel like a ball - nothing like a little black mail from you local bank, pay us or we will put it on your credit score. Pay them for something i didn't do, for their wrong doing.
