My mortage was sold to The Money Store 3 years ago, shortly after purchasing my home.
In addition to extremely POOR customer service, they rip you off in any way they can. I recently sold my home, and after many hidden charges, the payoff they required was NO WHERE NEAR what it should have been.
We are talking THOUSANDS more in add on costs just to sell the home and pay off those idiots! In addition, for two consecutive years they did not pay my property taxes out of the escrow account they set up.
They finally made the payments after many phone calls, faxes, blood, sweat, and tears... BUT I got stuck paying the penalty from my county for the payments not being made on time.
Never, Never, Never use them for a mortage company!
