Plastipak Packaging INC. I recieved a check in the mail from Plastipak Packaging for a total of $3,519.50 along with a letter from Payment Alliance International, INC. Stating that I am a winner in the "UK & NORTH AMERICA CUS

I recieved a check in the mail for a total of $3,519.50 from Plastipak Packaging Inc along with a letter from Payment Alliance International, Inc stating that I am a winner in the "UK & NORTH AMERICA CUSTOMER REWARD DRAW" organized for all customers of Wal-Mart, Sears, Home Depot, Safeway, and ASDA for the 2nd quarter of the year 2011. It also states that I am entitled to a guarenteed sum of $100,000.00 (in certified check), which will be delivered to me by courier service, (FedEx).

"enclosed is a check of $3,519.50 being part of your prize. This amount will enable you to offset the statutory Non-British tax officer as stated below:
Tax amount - $1,950.50.
Method payment: Western union Money transfer"

I called the number and a man with an arabian accent answered and told me that I needed to call him back after I deposited the check. (I never complied) Then he said (in the same conversation) after the check is deposited, I will need a photo ID when the UPS truck shows up to claim my check for $100,000.00. I never complied with depositing the check, therefore, I never called the man back... It seems like a scam and found a warning on the Payment Alliance International website:
