Ripoff Sent a letter saying I would get paid to stuff envelopes if I sent money and sent nothing

I got a letter saying that I would get paid $10 a letter to stuff envelopes. We've had scams like this before, we always just do it to see if it's legit. I decided to try it and borrowed the $49 from my mom to pay the down payment. The letter said that I would recieve a package of 49 envelopes and letters and such in 7 business days.

Well, it's been about 2 1/2 weeks and I'm still waiting for my package. I'm upset because I thought this might help my financial situation, because I'm in desperate need of money to swave up for college and now I'm stuck making minimum wage.
