Dishonest and unprofessional, don't fall for their low rates advertisement

On March 22 I was attracted by a online ad by Pricline
mortgage (PM) REFINANCING rate. I called and applied online giving them all the info they required and my $400 application fee. They locked me in that day and informed me all I needed was the appraisel done and I would be all set. I did not hear from the appraiser for 3 weeks, about 10 days before my lock-in expiration despite my repeated emails and phone calls. To make a long story short, they changed the rate on me at the deadline date of 4/22/04. Three weeks later, they were not calling me back
or responding to my emails I called their parent co-Everbank of Florida and they connected me to someone right away at PM.

Now they were saying my income fell short. My income and
the co-applicants did not change from my original app. PM
had assured me several times everything was all set and they were just waiting for the appraisel. Meanwhile rates were rising rapidly and by the time (seven weeks) they told me they were not going to do the loan, rates went up well over a point. PM costs me and my family thousands of savings over the next 15 yrs.

I think it was not advantageous for them to do the loan because rates moved up so quickly. I found them unprofessional and dishonest
