Ripoff, does not report correct information to the three credit bureaus rip-off liars

As with many single women I fell behind on my mortgage payments. I worked out a repayment plan of 1150.00 a month with the loss midagation dept. For a year and a half I kept my payments on time through quick collect. EMC sent papers stating I was no longer in repossesion proceedings and all matters were out of the courts. Yet when I tried to refinance with other companies I was told that I was in forclosure with EMC, I ordered my credit reports and they all stated that I have not made a payment in over 8 months and I was in foreclosure.in contacting EMC they stated the payents were on time and up to date that I would have to take the matter up with the credit agencies, yet another report I received stated EMC is falsely reporting my information, even though I have all cashed checks and Quick Collect papers stating all monies were paid.

I wonder is EMC falsely reporting information so they can try to hold me over a barrel or should I simply take them to court. If there are any mortgage attornie's out there please respond as I'm sure this is illegal.
