Consumers Beware Huge RipOff

I just received a phone call a couple of hours ago from a company called GoTech Financial. The person on the line first asked for my husband and I told them he was not home, then they asked if there was a family member available to talk to and I said yes. The person started going on about how I was approved for a credit card with a credit limit of $5,000 and all I had to pay was a one time processing fee of $219.90.

I started giving them my information and after I had already given them my bank account number, I decided that I didn't want it. I told the lady that I had changed my mind and she insisted on pushing me into finishing the recorded phone call, but I hung up on her. She kept calling back until my husband got on the phone and told her that if she kept calling he was going to call the police. She didn't call back after that, but I didn't feel comfortable because I had already gave her my bank account number.

I decided to check out the companies name on line and found this site. I tried to go to the ATM and grab out all the money, but I was only able to get a little of it. I tried to get more but the bank sayed that I had reached my daily limit of withdrawals. So, first thing Monday morning, I am going to my bank and closing my account, so they can't take any money out.

Hopefully I can put a stop to it before it is too late. If you get a phone call from a company like this, ask them to send information and if they won't just hang up. Please check on all of the offers like this before giving any personal information out.
