Geico Direct is in violation of Florida law passed on 1/04. Florida law stated that if insurers run credit on applicant they must run credit on all applicants. Currently this is not the practice at Geico. A customer can call in and refuse credit if they do not want to have their credit run.By allowing the refusal of credit by one party they are in direct violation of florida law.
