Fraudulent billing What kind of scam are these people running! Beware to all

A representative contacted about a debt that was over 10 years old. I told her and wrote them a letter requsting all the information about this debt with copies of original paperwork attached. She kept insisting that I have to produce a receipt of payment, that I should have kept something like that. When I told her what is the difference between her asking me to find a receipt that is ten years old and her producing me the documentation, she got extremely rude and hung up on me.

Luckily for us, the original bank was able to find the original contract and it showed that the loan was paid in full on July! Now the oringal lending bank has been attempting to contact CAMCO with no response. CAMCO halso stated to me that they had purchased this debt from another collection agency and they do not have all the information. What kind of scam are these people running! Beware to all.
