First national credit Is it a scam

I recieved in the mail a approval for the 15,000.00 limit and o interest. So I decided to check it out. I tried calling the better business bureau, but with no luck. I then called information and asked for their company listing I recieved this telephone number (949) 448- 8822. When the recording answered it had the normal company directory but when I pressed my option the line went dead. Is this in fact a scam? Help.
