US Bank is a JOKE

I went to my neighborhood US Bank in Seattle, WA (White Center) to pay my monthly home mortgage and cash in a few checks. I walked up to a teller and told her what I wanted done. She then rudely said that there was a $5 fee since I didn't have a checking or savings account with them. I had never been asked to pay this fee so I had no idea what she was talking about. I then simply asked her if it was possible to waive the fee this time so that I could make an account next week and not ever have to pay the fee again. Suddenly, she rudely says NO and then THROWS my ID card and my money at me. How dare she have the audacity to get mad at me and give me such unacceptable attitude. It was extremely uncalled for. But this wasn't even the worst part of my experience.
Two days later, I decided that I would go back to the branch and file a complaint against the employee. I talked to a woman named Paulette and she was an even bigger issue. Not only did she belittle and smirk at me when I retold the experience, she also started interrogating and questioning me, as if I was the one with bad attitude and throwing issues. She kept on saying things like, "Oh, well I'd defend my employee on this one..." and other unhelpful things.in fact, she was also present two days ago during my first incident but had chosen not to do anything about it. All I asked for was to file a simple complaint so that no other customer would have to go through what I went through.instead, I got to feel like I was the one who did all the wrongdoings. That is no way to treat a customer. And she even had the audacity to tell me that US Bank was voted for best customer loyalty and satisfaction. What a joke. Who on earth would vote for them? While looking them up, I realized that they had a chronic issue of mistreating customers. I hope that someone with authority reads this and changes their service. It is unacceptable to treat a customer like this, especially when we're the ones giving you business.
