CIC Credit Monitoring Service ripoff, $79.95 charge to my account unauthorized

I found a charge of $79.95 on my bank statement for the 25th of March this year. When I went on the internet to find out who this CIC Credit Monitoring Service was, since I was not aware of ever making this charge, & I found this website. Also with this website though there were quite a few more listed who all had complaints with this company.

I knew a few months ago I had applied for a free credit report trial of 30 days on consumerinfo.com, but never recieved my verification or a credit report. Also, when I tried to access the account it asked for a private passcode after I already entered my login info.

After reading many of the complaints on this website I called the number listed on my bank statement with the transaction to see about a refund. They told me there was a discrepancy with the info I gave them & I would need to speak with security to get that cleared and then I could get my pass code, which is what I told her I didnt want. I just want my $79.95 back.

She said eventually she would refund the money & it should show up in 7-10 days. She gave me her name & ID number. So I am just waiting. My family member is a CEO of a credit Union & I will deffantly be showing him this & maybe I can get the word out more in there newsletter. Make sure you take action & get your money back. I know I will not stop if I do not recieve it within 10 days.
