Ripoff Said I owed Citibank

I am SOOOOOOOO glad I found this site! I received a letter from CAMCO saying I owe $1143 on a CITIBANK account I don't have.

I have been getting several calls a day from someone for well over a year now but I never pick up the phone because I don't answer calls that don't show a valid phone number (thank you Caller ID). I always see "-Out of Area-" so I turn the ringer off and ignore the phone.

I called the guy, "Rick Albert" that appeared on my letter today and someone nervously told me that "Rick wasn't available" and I was transferred to someone else's voice mail who wanted me to leave a bunch of information on it. I hung up.

I am so looking forward now to picking up that next "-Out of Area-" phone call so I can tell them what a bunch of crooks they are! I'll gladly read them the article about them at the FTC site as well! Http://www.ftc. Gov/opa/03/camco.htm

I'm so glad you all have experienced this (well not glad that they are harrassing you and trying to scam you out of money) because it now gives me the COURAGE to deal with these folks for what they are, without fear, because I know they are scammers.

I hope we all stop getting harrassed by them. Personally, I'm going to call the local news station here. They do reports on Scamming companies and this will help any other locals who have received letters and calls from this company.
