Consumerinfo Aka: CIC Credit Monitoring
Ripoff

Apparently the CIC website has gotten the better of many others out there. CIC stated that with a "free" credit report all you needed to do was send an email cancelling your account and you would not be charged... Not so, 30 days later my credit card was charged $79 without my consent. I have not received a bill or any credit reports for this so called "service". As a matter of fact I had forgotten about it until I just received my credit card bill today. I would like to know what luck others have had in getting that money returned?
