I was approved for the auto loan in august of 1999. Three weeks later I received the original title to the car. I sent it back and made a phone call asking why did they send me the original. The woman on the other end stated that I should have the original and they keep the copy. HMMMM that's not correct.

In 2002 I lost my job. I called Household and told them my "situation". Their only suggestion was to turn in the vehicle. So I told them to come and get the car. They never have! Since then I have moved. I informed Household with my new address and phone number. Still no one came to get the car.

Just this past November the vehicle was struck by an oncoming car and totalled. Well two weeks after that I received a call from a woman in Texas stating that she was an investagor for Household and that they were coming to take the car. I proceeded to tell her of this whole fisasco. She really didn't care. Now as of yesterday another "investagor" called me stating that I needed to call him and that this whole situation could be taken care of over the phone. I called back and told him everything that had taken place. Now I have found out that I'm not the only one with this problem. I just don't know what I can do to stop the harrassment.
