After seeing that my friend had received between approx. 4 to 6 transitional information packets including a new bank card for the Wells Fargo change over I was concerned enough to contact Wachovia to inquire regarding my two accounts. The customer service agent was at first quick to attempt to insist my friend lived in another area and without asking spent time without taking a breath on that line of reasoning. After explaining my friend lived under the same roof the bank rep. Told me I had not received any information yet because my friend and I had not opened our accounts at the same time. I was good with that answer. The bank rep. Asked to put me on hold she told me she looked into my account and saw that I really should have received the material by now. So I sat on hold for 10 minutes. The bank rep. Came back on the line and told me I was going to have me speak with a transitional specialists and I was put back on hold for another 10 minutes. A woman picks up on the line asking what I wanted? As she was loudly drinking a beverage with a straw while she was talking to me the entire duration of our brief conversation. This woman was in a position of a telephone receptionist and my call had been routed to her phone after I sat on hold for so long. She had no idea how to reconnect me with the person I had been talking to. Needless to say, these people just don't care and they are sloppy. Sadly they handle my money. God help us all. You just know the next bank won't be much better because this is the kind of trash our society turns out to work in places like banks, hospitals and places where you would like to depend on someone to attempt to at least try to do their job with some competence. Since they know they can't be fired that easy a lot of these people push the limits and they get away with it.
