I was contacted by a Prime One sales person with an AMAZING offer. A GUARANTEED MASTERCARD with a $1,500 limit. There was a like a 9.7% interest rate, no annual fee, and the intrest rate wasn't introductory, it was fixed. I was told I was guaranteed to get this card, all I had to do was pay the one time enrollment and administrative and processing fees and the card would be in the mailed to me within 3 days of receiving the payment. I made the arrangements for the $187.00 fee. I then got another call to confirm my account information, and that I was authorizing the payment to receive the guaranteed Mastercard with a $1500.00 credit limit. They even asked me how I would like my name to appear, and if I would like a second card for an authorized user at no additional charge.

Needless to say, 3 days after the payment was processed there was no card in the mail.in fact, it wasn't until about 6 weeks later that I recieved anything, and what I did recieve was a folder full of completely useless junk, and an application to apply for credit! So I called the customer service number and explained that I was expecting a card, and what I received was far from it. I explained that I was not going to pay for a credit application, that I could go online and apply for a million cards for free. The gentleman explained that I was paying for the membership to their club, and that they needed the application for the signature and documentation from me with my name, address, etc.

He gave me a fax number and said if I faxed it over to his attention it would be processed immediately. I did this. When I called back 10 minutes later I was told that no one with the name he had given me worked there, and that they had not received a fax. They gave me another fax number and another name, I played this game 3 or 4 times. I did some research, the telephone number that they give out for customer service is a Toronto Canada exchange. I knew 212 was Manhattan, so when I got the package I knew that they were not from New York. I called around (directory assistance etc.) and there was nothing for them in NYC, and nothing listed for the address I gave them.

They connected me to another company in the same building so I could continue investigating, and I was told by them that the office was small, usually unoccupied and seemed to just be a mail drop.

I had my bank dispute the charge, but Prime One took the money right back once my bank did the refund. I have been fighting this since July, it is now March and I am still trying to get my refund. The NY and MA Attn. Gens. Claim to have tied hands since the company really seems to be from Canada, though they use a NYC address.

Bottom line, if prime one calls you - hang up and do not give them any information what so ever, they are full of nothing but crap and empty promises.

At $187.00 a pop I can only imagine how much money the guy who started this scam has in HIS bank account now that he has drained the rest of ours.
