We were also taken by IEV's fake investment scheme.in-ground asset lending against a coal resource that we were going to use to build a mine and an industrial plant.

$25K our legal expenses, and many MANY delays down the drain, we eventually get the most convoluted/worst legal doc our lawyers had ever seen, and walked without tossing our asset into a black box.

I guess we didnt get as deep in as some, but these guys created tremendous damage to our capital raising effort, and only by the grace of god, good investor support, and serious team dedication and sacrifice has our project survived regardless.

I hope this guy goes to jail for a long time. I don't believe that there was ever a serious effort to create a real syndication here. Mr. Sumstad was a smooth operator, and we got taken.

Never again.
