Ripoff should be called SCAMCO

Very recently I was contacted by CAMCO via telephone. When they described a $4000 debt that they were collecting on I realized it was from 1982 (22 years ago!) and that it was legally DISCHARGED in Federal Bankruptcy Court in 1986 (18 years ago!)

They didn't seem to care about ANY of this info and had a very nasty attitude. A week later I now have paper threatening me and only a PO Box to sent a reply which can't be used for certified or registered mail, so how do I prove the invalidity of the debt. I am not worried because I know the debt was listed in the bankruptcy, but after calling the FTC, I was told that they are a legitimate collection agency perhaps using illegal means to collect.

They have called 2 more time (CAMCO) but thanks to Caller ID I have not spoken to them.

They should should be stopped and the FTC told me a class action lawsuit is probably the only way.
