Fairbanks
We, too, had a gift in the mail!

We thought we washed our hands from Fairbanks when we sold our house in MN. We chose to "eat" the pre-payment penalty, unfair late fees, and unfair insurance charges (all to which came up to a little over $4000.00) and to chalk it up as an expensive "schooling."
We are thankful for the people that took charge of the situation and brought forth the class action suit.
We are a young, not as naive-as-before couple who, since this case, have decided to become more active in consumer issues.
We don't expect to get much in return, but we are glad that Fairbanks will get what they deserve for the grief that they put EVERYBODY through.
