Kurt Hickam stole money and engaged in unethical business practices

We had a terrible experience working with Kurt Hickam of Masterminds Mortgage. Their business is very disorganized and some red flags went up early on when working with them. We finally decided to work with someone else after realizing we couldn't trust them, which was when the trouble really began. We received a bill for over $500 for bogus services and fees not in our agreement.

We tried to contact them to resolve the bill and Kurt completely avoided our calls and letters. After several weeks, he sent a notice threatening to take us to small claims court if we did not pay the bill. I am truly disgusted with his behavior and hope to warn everyone of the nightmare we experienced.
