Ripoff These kinds of places should not be allowed to stay in business

I applied for their credit card under the belief that it was a credit card that I would be able to use for groceries and other items at say WAL-MART and TARGET. No one called me to ask if I had any questions or to even confirm the order before they withdrew $179.95 from my bank account.

There was no information on the site where I applied for the card that told me that my account would automatically be charged. I was under the impression that it was just an application to apply for the card. There was no information on the site to suggest otherwise.

When they took that money out of my account without me knowing, my account became overdrawn, because I had other things (rent, electric, etc.) that had been paid by check/bank card. When those things came in, there was not enough money to cover them because they automatically withdrew from my account without me even knowing they were going to do so.

When I called them to make sure what the card was about when I got the card in the mail and read the information about it, I told them over and over and over again that I wanted my money back because I didn't have any use for it, but they just kept offering me this or that every time I said "I just want my money back"! Finally, after at least half an hour or so of the run around, I just told them o.K. Because I was tired of getting the run around - even from the supervisor.

These kinds of places should not be allowed to stay in business. I don't have great credit, but I am a single mom, raising two children, and I can't afford for anyone to go in and take my money. It's not right at all.
