USA Credit, $10k limit Caused Unexpected Hardship for Low-Income Family ripoff

Business & Finance

Me and my husband, Rudy, were browsing through the internet because he just lost his Job and since I was a stay-at-home mother of two, we needed to get some kind of income, and we needed to get it right away. So we looked at all the different work-at-home opportunities provided. Realizing we needed money in order to invest in them, we automatically thought "get a loan of some kind, " since we only had enough money in our bank account for groceries and a couple of small bills that were soon to be going through. As we searched through the different loan options offered, USA CREDIT $10k/GUARANTEE APPROVAL popped up, so I clicked on the advertisement link. They had a application to fill out and apply, so as I'm filling out the application I'm reading all the info. As well, no where in the fine print, or anywhere else, were there any indications of a membership fee.

Then clicking the icon at the bottom of the application page to access the next page, it said "Your application has been approved with a 10k credit limit" and on the bottom of the page "Remember, be sure to deduct $149.00 (membership fee) from your bank account as it will be deducted immediately and the additional $29.00 (to upgrade your credit limit from $5,000 to $10,000). I was like "Oh sh*t, Honey, your going to kill me, but I don't know how this happened, I just purchased a $10,000 credit limit credit card. That was so wierd, I never authorized it. This was the beginning of what was to become a disaster.

I told my husband, "don't worry honey, I know we have only $100.00 dollars left in our account, but USA Credit said you can access your credit immediately, so we'll just take out a cash advance from the card and put it back into the account (since this company advertised this card as a regular credit card). Little did I know it was going to take a month or so to actually recieve the card.in the meantime my bills went through causing my bank account to overdrawl by $40.00, but our bank has outrageous charges for such activities ($33.00 for NSF on each item regardless of amount/paid or returned $30.00 for NSFRCF (insufficient funds return check fee $5.00 a day for continuous overdraft fee that it's overdrawn, so you can imagine how fast our account got up in the hundreds with overdrawn status. Me and my family had no food no money and what I thought would soon benefit us, just caused us more regret. Finally, I recieve the card in the mail, thinking to myself "Finally! Things are going to get better, "instead I'm to find out that what I thought (given the impression from USA Credit) that this credit card was no credit card. It was a store credit card, what a mess. I'm still in bad status with my bank account, me and the family are still at this moment in time without food or money. So please, let's all work together to get this company closed from doing harm to anyone else, like it has done to my family...
