Emerge Mastercard - Providian
Ripoff intentionally posts payments a month late and 'loses' payments even though they cashed the check

Business & Finance

I have recently noticed little discrepencies on my bills. I realized why it is taking me forever to lower the balance - the 29.99% interest rate! I read the other stories on this site and I am SO with all of you!

I just spent 2 hours on the phone (60% of the time on hold of course) to dispute a late fee they charged me in November because they have not received my payment. I told the guy who barely spoke english that I have the tracer in my hand and stamped that they cashed my check on Nov. 5th. They have also intentionally held my December payment and posted it on January 5th (which was actually cashed the first week of December) so I can get hit with the $60 late fee again.

This is so ridiculous!

Please, if anyone is going to file a class action law suit, I would really like to be part of it. Or I can try to give any helpful information to testify against them. Thank you!
