More Ameriquest victims left dusting ourselves off! Ripoff Michigan Nationwid

Well, what can I say, we got taken, sweet-talked into this wonderful refinance. The loan officer told us everything we wanted to hear, fixed low rates, no early termination fee, and so on.

Well, we closed on this loan, went through all the paperwork, (2hours). Noticing my middle initial was wrong, I was reassured it didn't matter, just sign with your regular middle initial.

We finished and the loan officer left, then came back in, said we had to resign everything because the initials were wrong.

She said it would take a minute to just breeze through and resign because we already went through the paperwork. I thought, okay, I have 7 days to decline if I'm not happy.

The next day my husband became very ill and ended up in the hospital for a week and I never got to go through the papers until it was too late.

I trusted this Loan officer and really thought she was out to help me. We ended up with a rate of 11.5% and an early termination fee. I called and complained, I contacted the attorney general, and everything I could. How can I prove anything? The first set of papers were gone! What I should have done is asked for the first set also.

We closed on our loan last week and had a 4,400.00 early termination fee to pay off!

I hope someone learns something from my experience.

The people on here defending Ameriquest are either very lucky or currently paid by Ameriquest to say nice things.
