Ripoff, This alledged company is the biggest Rip Off artist in Debt Collection

This alledged company sent me a letter stating that I owed an amount on a credit card from 1998. My wallet was stolen in early 1999 with said credit card in it.

I called this group of Liars regarding the letter and stated that I would pay this amount right now with a credit card and I was then given at least three excuses or lies as to why this could not happen.

I had no choice but to use what is called a check by phone where you provide check information for them to fill out a check and send to your bank. I asked these clowns two questions 1) Has this information been reported to the credit bureaus? 2) When will I receive confirmation that the amount owed was paid?

I received two more lies from this group of liars. The first lie was that I would have one faxed to me. What I received was a letter basically threatening me to uphold my end of the deal or else they would make matters worse. Strange seeing as I called them. I used thier system and paid via check on 12/29/03 I didn't receive the requested letter until 1/29/04. The worst part about it and the main reason this group of liars needs to be mentioned on this website is that three weeks after I paid the requested amount these clowns reported to the credit bureaus a collection on my account after the fact. If anyone has any dealing with this company full of rip off artists and liars from top to bottom - do nothing with them until you have exactly what they're supposed to do in writing and notarized because they have no idea what doing business the right way entails.
