Ripoff!

On Nov. 3 I received an e-mail that I was qualified for a Platinum credit card. After I filled out the application which only asked for a valid checking account and one valid credit card to qualify. I got into the information further and realized this was not what they were advertizing it to be. I not only qualified for the credit card with a $7,500 limit but a ATM card that I had to deposit money into and then use it. Why would I do something like that when I have my own ATM card with my bank account?

I then realized that it was not a platinum credit card at all but a credit with them for $7,500 that I could use buying their merchandse from their company with the prices supposedly reduced. I immediately clicked cancel and not submit. My checking account was debited $158.95 on the very next day Nov. 4. The same day I called the company and they would not refund my money. I called my bank and they could not put it in dispute because it went through as a transaction from my debit card. So I got totally ripped off. I also filed a report with the IFCC to get these scams off the internet.
