Payday cash harrasing phone calls, saying commited theift by deseption

A revieved a call a couple times from a man namked Mark. He said he was from the legal department of crime investigation and that there were serious alligations against me. He left voicemails with this information and his number.

I answered the phone on the 3rd day he called. He told me that I needed to resolve this. When I said I had no idea what he was talking about he told me that the alliagations were banking fraud, theift by deseption, and something else that I could not understand (he was not american). He then preseded to talk about this and I could not understand him.

I asked him to please tell me what company this was agaist and he said Payday cash. I have not had a payday loan in about 4 years, and it was paid off because my bank account was closed because they kept hacking it to take more money.

I then asked his company and he said he was from the same company and went on the repeat everything he just said. This did not make any sence because 1, he first said he was from a federal company, and then said he was from this payday cash, and 2, if I was being accused of this the cops would have already came to my house.

My husband recieve a call just like this 3 months before and found out it was scam when he called the number back and did research.

I have changed my cell number since the payday loan so I do not understand how they got my new number.
