American Agencies
Will not remove invalid obligation from my credit history

I found out last year that American Agencies is trying to collect for some phone bills on behalf of Pac Bell that I am not responsible for. Someone set up phone service using by social security number fraudulently. When I contacted the collection agency and informed them of this, they told me to file a report with the police and the FTC and then to give them the report numbers. They would then remove these items from my credit report.

After doing as asked and providing them with all the information requested, it is now a year later and I found out today that the incorrect info is still on my credit.
