Our mother who's near to 90 had an award with Genworth for more than 20 years. While it arrived due, they informed her they'd notgive her another award as a result of her era, she'd the choice of annuitizing (at no-interest) or cashing out. She decide to cash-out to pay for medical expenses plus they put a $1500 cash-out charge at her, eventhough the agreement ended. Their response "Read your agreement"
