Rip off They are trying to steal from my wife and I

My wife and I both received threatening calls today from "Tommy Williams". He threatened to destroy our excellent credit rating if I didn't send him 5000.00 to cover a bad debt from 1984. I told him that we paid all of our debts from 20 years ago and that there must be a mistake.

I asked him to provide proof and was told that he had a signed affadavit and did not need to provide proof. My wife was in tears over this jerk. I lost my mind on him and we got into a screaming match with each other throwing verbal insults back and forth. I hung up and called my attorney who told me to send them a cease and desist letter which I am doing today. He said that he could see that my credit was excellent and that is why I am getting this courtesy call.

I told him that he DOES NOT have my permission to look at my credit and he had better leave my wife and I alone. I began shouting and he shouted back, something about my mother and I hung up on him. A few minutes later someone named "Mr. Page" left a message at my home. It was from Camco's phone number. I did not return the call on advise from my attorney. I wish that these scumbags could be stopped. They apparantly use old and in-valid information and scare tactics to try to squeeze money out of you. They are thieves and should be in jail.
