Superior Benefits
Ripoff! Fraudulent credit card company, dishonest, ruthless, scam artists

Business & Finance

I was called earlier today, January 23, by a company with the name Superior Benefits. Claiming that I had applied with them back in November of they offered to issue me a credit card with a balance of $2,000 as long as I let them take $299 directly from checking to pay upfront fees. They offered me a competitive balance transfer rate of 4%, which is the reason I had recently been applying for credit cards in the first place, and I decided to go with it.

I submitted a recorded statement discussing my contract with them and explaining that they would not be responsible for any insufficient fees that would be associated with the withdrawal of funds from my checking account, and then shortly hung up with me, not allowing time to ask questions. So, suspicious of the information I was just given, I immediately called back and found that the customer service number they had given me was busy. So, I called the number they had called me from only minutes before and recieved a customer service representative by the name of Gina. After inquiring as to why the customer service number was busy, the rep. Told me they were out on "lunch" and to call back in 15 minutes.

That sounded oddly strange, so I looked them up on this website and found hundreds of people stating their stories about the fraudulent acts of this company. I immediately transferred all of my money from the account number I had given them to another account and closed the account they would have access to. I also put a stop payment on any funds trying to be withdrawn from Superior Benefits in the event that they would try to take the money from me immediately.

Thanks to you guys, I put a stop to their theft. I am still worried that they do have my drivers license number and social security information, so I will also report them to the federal bureau of investigation. I am not one that likes being taken advantage of, and am game to go after this company to stop further victims. Feel free to contact me via email.
