Mark false debt collectors

I was contacted 48 hours ago by phone the number is: 310-359-0428 this number left me a voice-mail stating that they were a law office and to please immediately call them back. Today I received 4 more missed calls from this number and reached out at my first opportunity. The phone was answered by a gentleman with a foreign accent, he did not list a business name, I was then transferred to another gentleman with the same accent. When this gentleman got on the phone he verified my name and the last four of my social, he then told me that there was a complaint on my name by a payday loan company and that I owed them $584. I asked for the specific name and he listed off 8-10 different subsidiaries I have never done business with any of the companies that he listed. I told him that I had no intention on paying a loan that I never received and requested that he send me paperwork on the so called loan he refused and told me if I paid $300 immediately this would "all go away". I advised for him not to contact me again and I would have my lawyer contact their office at which point he threatened to destroy my credit. I ended the call at this point and blocked the number from being able to contact me. I reached out to the 2 companies that I have previously taken out payday loans from and verified that I was not latent on any monies owed. This seemed to me like a phone scam attempting to collect money from innocent civilians. I have reported this number also to Equifax*, the FBI's scam division, news channel 5, wsmv (who has done an I-Team investigation - http://www.wsmv.com/news/24226502/detail.html), wkrn, fraud.org, and am attempting to submit it to the BBB. I contacted the number again today and informed them that I checked my credit report, fico report, and called any company I have debt to and that i knew it was fraud and that they can expect a federal investigators call. The man on the other side of the line stated that "no one called you and we will take you to courthouse."
