Jack stone pay day loan scam

I was called by cell phone 2 days ago from a middle eastern man calling himself "Jack Stone" saying I was being sued by a pay day loan company for not paying back a loan that I had supposedly gotten several yrs ago.

I kept asking him what was he talking about and he would keep asking me did I not know about this; that I was sent numerous emails about it. He read off this long script about being sued, I would have to go to court the next day and someone would come to my house & job.

He already had all my information: address, job info, ss#, reference; & email address, everything you wld put on an application if you applied for one which I have not.

He couldn't tell me who the loan orginator was, only Cash Partners of America and they use lots of diffent companies so he didn't know the particular one. He was very abrupt, wouldn't let me get a word in. Could hardly understand him.

Said I owed $5000 which included the loan and late fees. He wanted to know if I was going to take care of this and they would work with me and I could pay them $1,100.

Was told to fax letter w/all information including credit card & date of birth. Now since I find out that others have been misled by these people I feel relieved cause a part of me actually believed this and at the same time so stupid cause I did send my information.

I will be calling my bank tomorrow to cancel my bank card; but I don't know what else to do since he has a copy of my license. I have never encountered such deceitfulness. I pray no one else gets used by these people and they get caught and prosecuted to the fullest.
