Imperial Benefits
Ripoff took my money and didn't send card

Business & Finance

I recieved a phone call stating that I had been pre-approved for a $3,000 limit credit card and only had to submit a one time fee of $279.00. I mistakenly let them debit my checking account for the money and was told that it would be 30 days to get my card.

It has not yet been 30 days, but I decided to look them up on the internet, and only found sites for complaint with multiple entries of people who had the same experience as I did. I decided to call Imperial Benefits and after being on hold for an extended period of time, a man answered and asked me for my phone number which I gave him and looked me up in his database. He seemed very impatient.

I asked him when I am getting my card. He said thirty business days from when my account was debited. I asked him again, if I should expect a credit card with a $3,000 limit and he said yes. I told him of all the entries I found on complaint and he said they were registered with the Better Business Bureau.

After asking him one more time if I could expect a card with a $3,000 limit, 30 business days from the withdrawl of my account and he said yes. I then looked up the Better Business Bureau website and looked up Imperial Benefits. They were in there but only with negative feedback.

Apparently the BBB asked them, in December of to submit names of ten people who successfully recieved a card from them and they have not responded.
