Ripoff continues with abusive phone calls even after being informed of mistaken identity, report them to Federal Trade Commission

I received a call couple of weeks ago regarding a debt owed by an individual. No one by that name lives in our house. The social security number they gave me did not match my own. I informed them that they had the wrong person.

I have never been in trouble with my credit or with any unpaid bills, so all this was a new experience for me.in my ignorance to clear my name, I answered their questions about names of people in my family and gave them my social security number. I realize now, this was DUMB! Frustrated, I hung-up the phone (which I really do not do with people, even with telemarketers). They continued to call me every day, harassing me, making racial remarks, and rude and abusive statements.

CAMCO and its representatives, Steven Thomas and Chris Knight, do not have any idea who they are dealing with!!! I may have been ignorant in the beginning, but I learn very FAST!!!

I have contacted Federal Trade Commission and my State Attorney's Office regarding CAMCO. If enough complaints are made regarding this company, actions will be taken by the Federal Trade Commission. Join me and file a report with them. You can either file your report through the website, www.ftc. Gov or call them directly toll-free at 1-877-382-4357. Make sure you obtain a case number or a reference number. Use this reference number to update your file by reporting new illegal activities acted on by CAMCO.

One person alone can not fight them, but all of us can bring this company down or force them to change their business procedure to follow the law.
