Harassing phone calls

I've acquired several telephone calls on my cell and house regarding some type of "company issue" that will be possibly a classic, old debt from my breakup.

Today the collector named my siblings father-in-law who's by no means associated with me, I actually donot actually understand where the collector got the amount. Whenever we keep these things quit calling, they simply claim. I never received any kind of notice or something from these folks.

I googled them and discovered they're located in India or anything. They appear really questionable.

I really donot understand how to encourage them to quit, apart from delivering a cease and desist notice, that we have no idea when they might actually recognize.
