Loan Protector Took $30.00 out of my bank account even though I have no idea who they are

I noticed on my bank statement there was a $30.00 fee taken out of my account. The company was called Payday Loan Services. When I called the number on the check, I was calling a Customer Care Service Center. They informed me this was a membership. I have never heard of this company and I didn't join any membership with them. My bank has put a stop payment on this check and this company.
