Loan Modification Scam

This company guarantees an 80% refund if they are unsuccessful in modifying your current home mortgage to a low fixed rate. Upfront Fee charged is 1% of loan amount, over 4k in my case.By their own statement a standard process may take anywhere from 30 to 180 days. My account has reached over 365 days. Needless to say I am without a Modified loan or Refund. This company is running a pure scam. "BBB" rating for this company is an "F", with over 20 complaints already filed without a response. I should have known better not to do business with any company that charges a upfront fee.
