Ripoff trying to charge more money than i owe

Crescent bank bought my account from Premier auto finance. Premier told me that I only owed $150.00 on my account. Crescent bank is trying to tell me that I owe $765.00 on my account. I have paperwork from Premier stating I only owe $150.00, but Crescent bank said that it didn't matter about what paperwork I have, that they were gonna make me pay the $765.00.
