First National Credit
Is too good to be true—so it isn't

Business & Finance

I received the solicitation for at 15K credit line with zero interest for one year. I was about to cut the $37.00 check they wanted when I re-read their letter. There were a few warning signals, such as no identification of the type of credit card (MC or Visa)... And in particular the promise to send me the "further details of my membership." Membership? Since when is a credit card holder a "member" of anything, and if they want my $37.00 shouldn't I know what I am a member of?

The kicker was their address... Ending in "Unit 126." What is that... A motel room? Or maybe a mail box?

This is the first time I used your website to check anything out. Now I will be a constant visitor. You are providing a great service.

I was saddened to read the reports from people who have already paid their $37.00 and now won't get anything for it. I nearly did, myself, but I remembered what my Dad told me years ago..."If it seems too good to be true, it probably isn't."

Keep up the good work, guys, and if I can help put somebody behind bars for this, let me know.
