Ccs (First National Card)
ALMOST A RIPOFF Thanks for the warning

I was almost ripped off by ccs today. I received the letter in the mail just yesterday along with the card stating that i was approved with a $6,500.00 limit. Me, being only 19 years old, working full time, and going to school full time was excited. I thought it was a real credit card at first, but as i got deeper into the details i saw that it wasnt a credit card and i was a little dissappointed.

I figured what could really be so bad about $6,500.00. I read the letter carefully and discussed it with my mom who was also drawn into the spending limit. She said that i should call and activate the card so that i can get us a few new items. The letter stated the catalog was filled with all sorts items from furniture to appliances to computers. I applied for credit cards prior, but i had never even heard of ccs.

I then thought that it was something through my job since i work for the state of alabama, and i am a member of the a.S.E.A. (alabama state employees association) which offers many items through membership. I thought about it overnight and decided to look into it because it seemed to good to be true. It took me a while so i started a search and found the consumer complaintss. I carefully read each of the reports and i am thankful that i looked into it before i called and became a victim.
